Electronic Certificate Revocation

The renewal of certificates is carried out when the person (natural or legal) requests the reissuance of the active electronic certificate that they possessed.
To request renewal of the digital certificate, the signatory must follow
the steps in this section:

- Step 1: Renewal notification
The signatory sends an electronically signed email to the address soporte@procert.net.ve indicating the renewal request and providing the following information:
* Name of the certificate holder.
* ID of the certificate holder.
* Email of the certificate holder.

- Step 2: In-person validation
The signatory must go to the PROCERT administrative headquarters in order to identify themselves with the person in charge of the PROCERT Registration Authority. The PROCERT administrative office is located at Multicentro Empresarial del Este, Núcleo B, Torre Libertador, 13th floor, office B-132, Chacao Municipality, Caracas, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, postal code 1063. The signatory must present the person in charge of the PROCERT Registration Authority. the documents that identify it, for the purposes of validation.

(In case of being outside the city of Caracas, the signatory can arrange a teleconference, for this it is necessary to have a microphone, web-cam and horns, during the teleconference the signatory must show their identity document and provide the information requested to validate your data, this teleconference will be recorded and safeguarded by PROCERT, in the electronic file corresponding to the signatory).

- Step 3: Access the User portal
The signatory, through the PROCERT website, will access the “Certificate System” site by entering their username and password; You will then be able to renew your certificate.

The suspension is carried out when the person (natural or legal) requires, for reasons of security or temporary cessation of work, the momentary suspension of their electronic certificate,
By law, the suspension of an electronic certificate can only have a maximum duration
fifteen (15) days, after that period of time has elapsed and if the user
has not expressed its desire to reactivate the suspended certificate, the PROCERT Registration Authority will proceed to revoke it in order to guarantee
the security of the signatory.

The suspension of an electronic certificate can only be carried out by the PROCERT administrator.
To request suspension of the electronic certificate, one of the following means can be used:

- Medium 1: Suspension notification
The signatory sends an electronically signed email to the address soporte@procert.net.ve, indicating the reason for the suspension, its duration and providing the following information:

The revocation of the electronic certificate is carried out when the person (natural or legal) has ceased to exist or has ceased in the activities for which said certificate was granted. It will also be revoked when the security of the private key has been compromised or in case certificate expiration date.
